Announcing Partnership with DePHY: Decentralized Agent Communication

This week, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with DePHY, the ultimate DePIN framework on Solana. Together, we aim to co-build a Decentralized Agent Communication Solution on DePHY's messaging layer, seamlessly integrated into our open-source Amico Framework. This solution will be open to all agent developers and businesses.

Why Decentralized Communication Matters for AI Agents

Just like human peer-to-peer communication, sensitive interactions between autonomous AI agents should remain private and secure. This becomes even more crucial as AI agents, acting autonomously on their owner's behalf, gain access to private data such as crypto wallets, daily routines, and contact lists.

Traditional client-server communication paradigms fall short for these needs. Unlike deterministic programs, AI behavior is inherently probabilistic and unpredictable, increasing the risk of sensitive information leaks if communication is compromised.

This is why communication between AI agents must be serverless, peer-to-peer, and decentralized.

Our collaboration with DePHY leverages the Nostr protocol (Notes and Other Stuff Transmitted by Relays), a lightweight, open protocol enabling decentralized, serverless communication. Here's why Nostr is ideal for agent-native communication:
